 I was thinking of a platform that is similar to dating apps but its purpose would be to find someone who has the same interests as you do. It will give all categories to choose from whether it is movie, music, art, food. I think it will be interesting to talk to someone who is as passionate as you are about certain things, create small communities where everybody is on the same page.

    Hi Angelika,
    I think your idea of a more specific dating app is interesting as it will probably increase the matches and therefore the meetings. However maybe some people that would match very well don't have the same hobbits?

    I love this idea. I know lots of people talk about having internet friends where they can be from separate locations but just have a genuine relationship without ever meeting each other. Lots of people are meeting through the Internet and a bio can be so brief and vague to connect with someone. With this dating app, you can see what communities/groups a certain person is involved in or interested in, which you can see a mutual connection.

    I really like this idea, I think some of the problem with adding random people in social media right now is you don't really know what they like and if they dont like your hobbies then it was a waste of time. Your idea makes it very convenient so people who have similar interests can meet.

 I feel like when you post something on Twitter, you do not need sound professional and be formal. You can express your thoughts however you like to. But when I use Blackboard discussion, I have to be professional and make sure that my words make sense and relate to the object of discussion. Also, I cannot use emojis. For the in-class discussion, you can use gestures to express yourself and you do not need to sound so formal in-class discussions.
